My Latest Twitter News

Last week I did my first Twitter Giveaway and must say it didn’t do too well.

Now 1 of the reasons it may not have done as well as expected is because of the gift.  However I think another equally important reason is how people are trying to get more followers.

You see many think that to get more followers they must follow everyone who follows them. They argue that it’s the polite thing to do.

Well today I read an article about how Twitter is now enforcing the limit on the number of people you can follow a day. And because I don’t see why anyone would need or even want to follow a thousand people a day I added a comment expressing my thoughts.

And even though my giveaway didn’t go too well and I don’t follow thousands or even hundreds of people I still support the use of Twitter for social networking. In fact I even provided a couple of answers on Yahoo answers to a couple of new Twitterers. And guess what. Since not that many of the general population is using Twitter both my answers were picked as the “Best Answer”. Here’s 1 of them.

I’ve also decided to personalize my Twitter page. It’s still a work in progress but here’s how it looks so far.

That’s it so far but you can expect more Twitter updates and giveaways from me in the future.

To Your Success,
Susan
